SMC Signals Indicator — User Guide

A short guide for reading zones, signal stages, visual TP/STL levels, popup alerts and mobile push notifications.

1. Quick Start

Basic setup

Attach the indicator

Open a chart, drag the indicator onto it, then check the settings before pressing OK.

Start with the default profile

The default settings are designed for clean SMC zone reading and balanced signal confirmation.

Enable alerts

Keep Popup and Mobile Push enabled if you want real-time notification from MT5.

2. Zones and Chart Labels

Teal group

Use this group to control what SMC zones and quality tags are displayed on the chart.

Show Zone Quality TagsShows tags such as BOS, IDM, OB+FVG and retest status.Keep enabled if you want to understand why a zone is important.

Show Zone RangeShows the active entry area on chart.Useful when preparing a manual entry around a zone.

Normal

A valid zone found by the indicator.

OB+FVG

A stronger overlap area where an Order Block and Fair Value Gap align.

IDM / Sweep

A higher-quality SMC condition related to liquidity and inducement.

R1 / R2

First / second valid retest of the zone.

3. Signal Modes

Violet group

Signal mode changes how strict the confirmation must be. It does not change the purpose of the indicator: the final signal is still based on a valid SMC zone and a confirmed condition.

4. PRE Signal Box

Violet group

PRE WATCH

Price is near or touching a valid OB/FVG zone. This is an early attention stage.

PRE READY

The zone is active and the timing condition is almost ready.

CONFIRMED

A closed candle meets the selected signal mode and creates the final signal.

5. TP / STL Visual Levels

Amber group

Important: TP and STL levels are visual reference levels only. They help with planning and reading signals, but they do not place or manage trades automatically.

6. Alerts: Popup and Mobile Push

Set up Popup Alert

  1. Open the indicator settings.
  2. Go to the Alerts group.
  3. Turn on Popup Alert.
  4. Keep the desired alert stages enabled: Approach, Early and/or Confirm.
  5. Press OK.

Set up Mobile Push

  1. Install and log in to MetaTrader 5 on your phone.
  2. On the phone app, open Settings and copy your MetaQuotes ID.
  3. On MT5 desktop, open Tools → Options → Notifications.
  4. Enable push notifications and paste the MetaQuotes ID.
  5. Click Test. If the phone receives the test message, press OK.
  6. In the indicator settings, turn on Mobile Push.

Telegram note: Telegram alert systems are disabled in the Basic version. Popup and Mobile Push still work normally.

7. Panels and On-Chart Display
